An integral part of the ongoing success of our
company is the Damage Recovery Unit (DRU). When damage occurs to
our company property - primarily our rental vehicles - the Damage
Recovery Unit works to recover costs for those damages. DRU claim
centers handle all claims involving damage to, and recovery for, company
vehicles.
The Damage Recovery Unit is made up of five
positions that work together in a professional office environment.
Claim files are handled with specialized functions flowing from one
person to the next for completion.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from
7:00am to 6:00pm to allow for flexible scheduling options.
The Biller is responsible for reviewing the claim
file and invoicing responsible parties for the reimbursement of damages
to our rental vehicles.
- Identify responsible parties and bill them for loss amounts
according to established policies and procedures
- Review estimates and verify that the damages described match those
in the loss report
- Create receivable and ensure receivable amount matches estimate
amount
- Ensure the responsible parties are billed appropriately based on
statutes or any written agreements
- Process an appropriate number of claims per day and complete the
billing process within 24 hours of assignment of claim file
- Once billing is complete, assign claim file to Recovery
- Update system notes and data fields
This position pays
$25,600.00/annually.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday
from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, allowing for flexible scheduling options. This
position is full-time.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Associates degree preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of prior administrative,
clerical or office work expereince
- Prior billing or subrogation experience preferred
- Must have experience in working on a PC and a foundation of
Microsoft Office products and the internet
- Must be able to work full-time
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship,
now or in the future
